Lead Servicer Designer — City, North Canberra

Lead Service Designer Contract: 12 months with 2 x 12-month extension options Location: ACT Security Clearance: NV1 minimum required A government department is seeking an experienced Lead Service Designer to join a multi-disciplinary team driving a strategic digital transformation initiative aimed at improving the security and resilience of the organisation’s ICT environment. This role will primarily support the Digital Uplift Program (DUP) , a multi-year initiative focused on uplifting cyber security and rapidly transitioning infrastructure and applications to cloud-based environments as part of a Modern International Communications Network (ICN). Key Responsibilities: Design and produce service blueprints and other key artefacts Facilitate engaging and outcome-driven workshops Develop cross-business reports supporting decisions around service consolidation, remediation, and rationalisation Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs), working alongside UX researchers and business stakeholders Skills & Experience Required: Candidates should be able to demonstrate capability in the following areas aligned with the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA): Strategic planning, business process improvement, and enterprise architecture Research, user experience analysis and design, consultancy, and benefits management Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement capabilities Proven experience supporting omni-channel and digital transformation projects Excellent collaboration and communication skills Desirable: Experience managing projects across multiple services with strong time management Proficiency with design and prototyping tools including Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, Miro, Mural, Optimal Workshop, and Qualtrics XM Familiarity with Identity Access Management (IDAM), particularly Microsoft Entra ID Background in cloud migration and legacy systems integration Expertise in customer research, journey mapping, ideation, prototyping, and solution testing Ignite is Australia's preferred partner in recruitment and technology solutions across private and public sectors.
