About this Opportunity The School is seeking Casual Teachers who are engaged and passionate to work casually across our Year 9 Moonbah Program (Terms 1-2) and our Year 10 Winter School Program (Term 3) which are both based at the School's High Country Campus (Jindabyne, NSW). Please note: Term 4 will be considered non-teaching time with excellent flexibility to accommodate extended travel over the summer break. This role is underpinned by Redlands' commitment to the development of each student's personal growth. Students living in community and on site at Redlands' High Country Campus outside of Jindabyne, connect, learn, and lead to foster deep understanding and critical thinking via a rich and varied interdisciplinary curriculum. Through these bespoke residential programs, students deepen independence, responsibility and are empowered to become the authors of their future selves. About You The successful applicant will be someone who is passionate about creating a positive impact for our students and the School, has excellent written and oral communication skills, and has a keen desire to support others to succeed! We are looking for casual teachers with the following competencies and experience: Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualifications and hold an active NESA registration, which are all mandatory for this role. A deep appreciation of the learning styles, social and emotional needs of Stage 5 students and an ability to focus on the individual needs of all students to provide growth and development opportunities. A high level of curriculum, development and implementation experience and skill. Excellent team player who works effectively and collaboratively with other staff. Outstanding professional presentation and manner. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience in dealing appropriately with confidential and sensitive information. Ability to think strategically and to problem solve in creative and effective ways. Although this is a casual position, the successful candidate will have a willingness to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the residential program.
