We are currently offering exciting opportunities for Casual and Part-Time Disability Support Workers to join our vibrant and supportive team. These roles will support clients across both our Frankston and Mornington locations, offering a dynamic and varied work environment where no two days are the same. Available Hours: • Casual shifts: 8:30am–3:15pm or 9:00am–3:00pm • Flexible part-time positions also available What You’ll Be Doing As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred support to people with disability. You’ll assist individuals in building life skills, engaging in community-based programs, and achieving their personal goals—whether at home, in the community, or at our service sites. Our programs include: • Social, Site Based and Community Participation • Cooking, music, dance, gaming, fitness, art, volunteering • Gardening, urban adventures, sailing, swimming and more! You’ll also support clients with: • Achieving their goals • Acquiring daily living skills and managing their personal care • Physical mobility and manual handling • Complex care needs What We’re Looking For • Kind-hearted individuals with a genuine desire to support others • Passionate about supporting people with disabilities to live the life they choose • Is physically able to help our clients with physical activities such as swimming, and engage in manual/physical programs including pushing wheelchairs • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to prevent and resolve issues and to build and maintain positive relationships with our clients, teams and external stakeholders • Flexibility, reliability, and a positive ‘can do’ attitude • Demonstrated knowledge or experience working within the disability sector and supporting clients with varying support needs and goals • Experience in day services, group-based or community support • Good administration skills, written communication skills, computer literacy to complete appropriate documentation • Relevant qualifications: Certificate IV in Disability (or willingness to complete within 18 months) Current First Aid & CPR NDIS Worker Screening Check Valid driver’s license Why Work with Us?
