We are currently looking for a Assembly - Forklift Operator The Role. Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm Casual to Permanent Opportunity Training in all areas of the role will be provided We are looking for someone who is mechanically minded, shows the ability to understand basic machinery functions, has good attention to detail. The role is diverse linking multiple responsibilities including the assembly of high voltage switch gear with the preassembly of all componentry linked to the Production Schedule, In conjunction with building switch gear you will be required to learn receiving and dispatching duties, this will include forklift work therefore a current forklift license is essential. The Role - •Ensure all correct components are used in building switches according to the bill of materials •Ensure all components reflect the general assembly •Build and adjust high voltage switches to general assembly compliance •Identify and report on non-conforming parts •Completing the appropriate switch test recordings and other checks required for sign off •Comply with all company values and policies •Help with the receipt, delivery and transfer of goods when required •To operate basic machinery •Input into assembly improvements to help gain efficiencies •To operate as part of a crossed functional team • Skills you will Need. •Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and purchase orders. •Able to use measuring equipment required to check incoming materials. (includes vernier callipers, tape measure, etc) •Capable of working with minimal supervision in an organised manner and to keep to the production plan and schedule. •To operate machines and tools that employee has been trained on in an efficient, effective and safe manner •Above average numeracy and literacy skills •Ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner. •Knowledgeable of general manufacturing processes. •Computer literate, able to use word, excel and the ability to learn our internal compliance software •Current forklift license To be considered for these positions you must have had experience as requested.
