About the role: As a Sales & Service Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to RACQ’s 1.7 million members, providing a total brand experience that leaves a lasting impression. This means: Receiving incoming calls from RACQ members and communicating in an honest, open, and engaging manner. Staying calm and composed under pressure, handling complaints or escalated enquiries with professionalism and empathy. Discussing additional product needs based on genuine customer connection & conversation/ Managing day-to-day transactions accurately, in line with RACQ's policies and procedures. Creating an environment where members feel comfortable sharing their concerns and where their needs are prioritized. Permanent part time – 25 hours per week! First 3 months Monday – Friday 9AM - 2PM. You'll enjoy a competitive starting salary of $61,000 super (pro rata), with a gradual increase as you continue training. Plus, an additional loading applies on weekends. The role kicks off on June 15th, with rotating shifts from 8AM - 3PM, Roster A - Monday through Saturday (with a fortnightly Saturday roster). Roster B - Tuesday - Saturday Weekend loading 50% Saturday, 68% Sunday About you: You’re the kind of person who thrives on helping others and delivering outstanding customer experiences. We’re looking for candidates who have: Previous experience in a customer service or contact centre role. Exceptional empathy, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong active listening skills, with a willingness to provide support and guidance to members in alignment with RACQ’s values. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust. Keen attention to detail and accurate data entry skills, especially in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative spirit, positivity, and adaptability to changing priorities. Must be available to attend an on site interview at Eight Mile Plains 15th May. Why Talentpath?
