This is a pivotal role where you will be the first point of contact for our customers, and the conduit working closely with our sales, drafting and production teams to ensure customer orders, quotations, delivery and technical enquiries are actioned promptly and efficiently to deliver the best customer experience. Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, you are customer centric in everything you do and able to build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders to problem solve to get the best outcome. To set you up for success, you have a good eye for detail, are easy going with a positive outlook, can work as part of a collaborative team as well as autonomously when needed, to get the job done. Your day to day includes but is not limited to: Monitor the customer service inbox and answer a high volume of customer calls, to provide a timely and efficient response to all enquiries. Daily processing of administration tasks such as preparing the mail, invoicing and processing credits. Raise and provide product pricing and quotations for all customers and in a timely manner in consultation as required with the Business Development Manager or General Manager. Liaise with the Production Team Leaders on time in full supply of ordered products and back orders to customers. Data entry of customer orders accurately and in a timely manner to ensure orders are dispatched on time to meet customer timeframes. Investigate customer complaints and troubleshoot to ensure a great customer experience. At all times promote a strong and positive image of Rodney Industries and Vinidex. Provide support to Internal Sales Staff and complete all tasks in a timely manner. Assist in administration filing and stock control procedures when required. Ensure customer orders and quotes are filed in the correct order with all relevant documentation attached and all customer records and notes are updated in Accentis. Ensure sales catalogues and brochures are kept up to date to ensure accurate customer service information is provided. Comply with WHS instructions and follow the processes and practices of the workplace About You Ideally you will have 2-3 years in a Customer Service role, within a Manufacturing, Mining, Trade or Civil Industry (Irrigations, Plastics, Piping, Building Products, Hardware -highly regarded). Experienced dealing with customer resolutions, problem-solving and the ability to navigate complex manufacturing process’. Computer literate with solid Microsoft Office skills and proficient with ERP/CRM systems (full training given for the right applicant with inhouse system). Have knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 requirements (desirable). Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders including customers, to influence and negotiate to get the best outcome. Strong decision-making ability, critical thinking and problem solving. Excellent time management and coordination skills with a sense of urgency, results focussed, with high attention to detail and analytical mindset.
