About the Role As a Junior Warehouse Operator, you'll assist in the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse. From unloading deliveries to assembling chairs and fulfilling orders, you'll play a key part in ensuring customers receive their products safely and on time. Key Responsibilities Inbound Logistics Unload deliveries manually and inspect for visible damage Scan and process stock; report missing or unscannable items Sort, label, and store inventory accurately Order Fulfilment Pick and label customer orders with precision Assemble chairs for shipping Scan and load outgoing orders; report any issues Ensure items are handled safely to avoid damage Returns & Stock Management Notify management of returned items Assist in assessing returned goods Support cycle counts and regular stocktakes Equipment & Facility Maintenance Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace Teamwork & Safety Collaborate with team members to meet daily goals Follow all safety protocols and attend training sessions Report safety or maintenance concerns promptly Support special projects and assist with showroom setup Help train new team members as required What You'll Need Must-Haves: Ability to regularly lift up to 25kg (heavier items with assistance) Great attention to detail and time management skills Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods Reliable transport to and from Dandenong South Punctual, positive, and ready to work Nice to Have: Previous experience in a warehouse/logistics environment Forklift license (LF) Familiarity with inventory systems or WMS Basic knowledge of warehouse safety practices Performance Expectations No more than five picking errors per year Stock variance of under $5,000 per year Zero-incident safety contribution A proactive and team-focused approach to improvement Why Apply?
