Requirements About the Opportunity Are you an experienced designer with a passion for taking the next step into management? As a Design Project Manager for our Energex Subdivisions team, you will play a crucial role in leading a high-performing design team to deliver exceptional results. You'll be responsible for managing design projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet Energex requirements while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and design quality. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a dynamic team of designers, fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving outstanding design outcomes. Supervise the creation of Energex works and plans and ensure all requirements are met to create detailed and accurate subdivision design. Ensure compliance with Energex standards, regulations, and guidelines throughout the design process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery, addressing any challenges and identifying opportunities for improvement. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, helping them develop their skills and advance in their careers. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution. Act as a key point of contact between the design team, clients, and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Energex design, with a solid understanding of Energex subdivisions and associated requirements. Proficiency in reading and interpreting Energex works plans and related documentation. A desire to develop strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs that align with Energex standards and guidelines. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing design challenges. Prior experience in project management or team leadership roles is a plus.
