Warehouse Supervisor Our warehouses are the heartbeat of our ecommerce business. This opportunity requires an experienced supervisor to work alongside the warehouse manager and support the warehouse daily operations and workforce management, and to deliver productivity to meet KPI’s. As an Ecommerce company we dispatch around 10,000 parcels every day, from our five warehouses. Our products range from large and heavy items, such as beds, to small and compact items such as photo frames. This role is located in our warehouse in Truganina, which is over 30,000 sqm and has a team of around 30 Picker Packer and Forklift Operators. The Exciting Role: • Maintaining accurate inventory control and implement efficient warehouse procedures and space utilisation. • Improve Cost Per Unit (CPU), obtain targets on inbound and outbound rates. • Receiving, storing and delivering items and making suggestions for productivity improvements. • Safeguarding warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. • Leading, mentoring and developing the team to meet and exceed set targets. • Organizing roster and managing performance of permanent and casual staff. • Providing training, guidance and evaluate new warehouse workers, to foster an engaged team • Managing warehouse resources and optimising productivity constantly by ensuring facility equipment are properly maintained. • Monitoring and enforcing warehouse processes and procedures. • Adhering to OH&S procedures and standards and promoting a “Safety Frist” culture within the business. • Providing a safe environment for the team. • Performing behaviour safety observations (BSO’s) conversations with staff members • Identifying, reporting hazards • Reporting and log safety-related incidents. • Effectively communicating with the internal and external stakeholders on logistics and stock volumes. • Maintaining good employee relations and contribute to a cooperative team environment. • Performing administrative duties. • Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed. • Be able to adapt to the needs of the business and take on additional duties as directed by the direct manager as required.
