Essential Qualifications: Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent). Current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one. First Aid Certificate, including training in asthma and anaphylaxis. Essential Skills and Attributes: Ability to provide a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all children. Understanding of developmental milestones and needs of various age groups. Capability to design, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration. Ability to work as part of a diverse team. Adaptability to various situations in an early childhood setting. Desirable Skills and Knowledge: Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years. Understanding of standards and assessment processes to ensure quality service. Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families, and individual children's needs. Proficiency in using computers and relevant software for documentation. Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant, or similar role.
