About the Pharmacy Department Our department provides a comprehensive pharmacy service to all patients of the hospital. A high degree of specialised service is provided in clinical areas, medicines information, antimicrobial stewardship, quality use of medicine, research and clinical trials. We are a passionate, supportive and driven team who works cohesively together to focus on quality patient centred care. About the role As a Clinical Pharmacist at the Women’s you will provide comprehensive pharmacy services to the clinical areas within your remit. A regular day will see you: Perform medication reconciliation processes, resolve medication related issues, provide medicine information and counsel patients Ensure appropriate medicine usage through implementation of hospital policy, and through liaison with medical and nursing staff Support training and mentoring program, including supervision of intern pharmacists and pharmacy students About you You will be someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who enjoys working as part of a team committed to excellence in patient care.
