We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Content Lead with a strong focus on Employment Relations to join our dynamic and growing Content team in Australia. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the creation, accuracy, and quality of our employment law content, ensuring it is legally sound, commercially relevant, and easily understandable for our diverse client base. You will be instrumental in shaping our content strategy, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring Peninsula remains a leading voice in providing expert employment law guidance. You will work closely with the Head of Content, legal and advice teams, webinar and marketing department to deliver exceptional value to our clients. Key Responsibilities: Identify emerging legal trends and develop proactive content plans to address them. Oversee the creation of a wide range of content formats, including articles, guides, templates, FAQs, webinars, and video scripts. Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date with relevant legislation, commercially sound, and written in a clear, concise, and accessible style.Maintain a deep understanding of Australian employment law, including Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, awards, and state-specific legislation. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to ensure the accuracy and compliance of all employment relations content. Lead the editorial process for all employment relations content, including planning, commissioning, writing (where necessary), editing, proofreading, and quality control. Ensure consistent tone, style, and branding across all employment relations content. Develop and maintain editorial style guides and best practices. Mentor and guide junior content editors, providing feedback and support for their professional development. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling content for campaigns and client communications. Liaise with client-facing teams to understand client needs and feedback on content. Skills & Experience: Tertiary qualification in Law (LLB or equivalent) is essential. Significant experience (3 years) in legal content creation and editing, ideally with a focus ib employment relations or criminal law. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Proven ability to translate complex legal information into clear, concise, and accessible language for a non-legal audience. Excellent research and analytical skills. Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
