The brand is global. Job Description Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (supplier, distribution, licensing, NDAs). Legal Advisory: Provide day‑to‑day legal advice on commercial and regulatory matters, including consumer law, trade promotions, and advertising compliance. Risk Mitigation: Identify and analyse legal risks; collaborate with the Risk & Compliance team to develop mitigation strategies. Policy & Training: Assist in updating commercial policies and delivering training sessions to business stakeholders on legal best practices. Dispute Resolution: Support senior counsel in managing commercial disputes, recalls, and product liability matters. Project Support: Participate in commercial projects (e.g., product launches, joint ventures, system implementations), providing legal input to meet deadlines. The Successful Applicant Qualifications: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor, admitted to practice in NSW. Experience: Minimum 4 years' post‑admission experience in a law firm or in‑house, with exposure to FMCG, retail, or consumer goods contracts. Technical Skills: Strong drafting and negotiation skills; solid understanding of Australian Commercial Law (ACL, Competition & Consumer Act). Commercial Acumen: Ability to balance legal rigour with commercial objectives in a fast‑paced environment. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication; adept at building relationships with non‑legal stakeholders.
