We are seeking for a driven and experienced Project Administrator to provide administrative support to the Commercial and Finance function, as well as overall site administration support to the Construction Delivery Team . The Project McConnell Dowell and CPB Contractors, along with Design partners Mott McDonald, Arup and Aurecon have been awarded the Tram Grade Separation Projects as an Alliance, comprising of works at three main locations along the Glenelg Tram Line. The purpose of the Tram Grade Separation Project is to improve the safety and efficiency of the major north south corridors to the west of the city by removing and improving the Glenelg Tram Road crossings. The existing overpass at South Road will be replaced in order to facilitate the construction of the T2D Project. The level crossings at Marion Road and Cross Road will be removed and replaced with an overpass, and Morphett Road level crossing will also be replaced by tram overpasses removing the interface with road traffic and creating new public spaces beneath. These projects will be delivered by the Tram Grade Separation Projects Alliance (TGSPA) together with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport. The Position Reporting to the Commercial Lead, the position scope will be administrative duties supporting both the commercial and finance, and construction delivery functions to provide accurate and efficient administrative support and contribute to the successful delivery of the project. This role will be based at one of three project sites, metro-Adelaide, south of the CBD, working in a construction environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in the administration of payments to support the Finance function. Provide support to the Project Commercial team in relation to commercial activities on the project. Provide general administrative support to the Delivery Manager and construction team. Maintain payroll records for staff including time keeping data and statistics, leave records and related information. Maintain site personnel roster and provide support with the co-ordination of flights and accommodation as required. Skills and Experience Relevant and recent experience in an administration role, ideally within the civil construction industry Experience in a commercial and/or finance function and exposure to accounts reconciliation Working knowledge of Visio and Workbench. Competent user of Microsoft Office Suite e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Microsoft Power BI. Strong ability to develop excellent working relationships with all staff.
