STC will act as the asset-owner of the North East Link road on completion and will hold the entitlement to the future toll revenue stream from the North East Link Project. STC is responsible for procuring the Toll Collection Capability services for the Project. There is now an exciting opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the in-house legal team. The Role The Senior Legal Counsel is a key member of STC’s Commercial & Legal Team and reports to the Deputy Director Commercial & General Counsel. Your role will include the development of tender processes, procurement and project delivery support, contract negotiation, and commercial arrangements. As part of the Commercial and Legal Team you will ensure the effective management and mitigation of legal and commercial risks as the STC sets up for operation This role will suit lawyers with 6 to 12 years of experience across commercial and procurement matters (IT and/or Projects and or Commercial M&A) from either an in-house, public sector or private practice setting. With the current legal team comprising lawyers with top 10 firm experience and strong ASX client exposure, the role will suit sophisticated lawyers with strong legal skills, commercial exposure and strong employment history.
