We’re looking for casual and part-time Disability Support Workers to support a new customer in a SIL home. You’ll assist with daily living tasks and encourage independence, with shifts available from 6 AM to 2 PM and 2 PM to 10 PM. About the Role We’re offering casual and part-time opportunities for Disability Support Workers based in West Rockhampton, supporting a new customer in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home. This customer will be joining Multicap in June, and we’re building a dedicated team to provide tailored support from day one. You’ll be assisting with daily living tasks and encouraging independence, with community access support required as needed. Shifts are available from 6 AM to 2 PM and 2 PM to 10 PM. Other responsibilities may include: · Assist with personal care, household tasks, and other daily living activities as required. · Providing companionship and emotional support. · Maintain accurate records of support provided, including progress notes and incident reports. · Use Positive Behaviour Support strategies to encourage positive behaviour and manage challenges.
