An established meat processing business in Thomastown is seeking to fill the full time position of Distribution Manager / Office Manager / Contract Administrator / Skilled Meat Workers About the role Duties/Responsibilities: For Distribution Manager Design efficient distribution strategies to meet customer demands Lead and manage a diverse distribution team, including drivers, warehouse and administrative staffs; set performance goals, provide guidance, and assess team performance regularly. Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and shorter delivery times; create and manage delivery schedules that align with customer expectations. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards; maintain accurate records of regulatory compliance. Manage the distribution budget to control expenses without compromising service quality. Resolve customer service issues, deal with customer concerns, and prepare responses to customer issues and problems. Evaluate employee performance, provide disciplinary action as required. Duties/Responsibilities: For Office Manager Organize all the administrative activities to facilitate the smooth running of the office Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures; balancing office budgets; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions Ensure filing systems are maintained and up to date. Ensure protection and security of files and records. Assign and monitor clerical and secretarial functions. Supervise office staffs, manage their performance and provide training and on-going staff development. Duties/Responsibilities: For Contract Administration Oversee proposal planning and administration of contracts Review and negotiate terms and conditions of contracts Develop, review and negotiate variations to contracts. Coordinate and review the formulation and finalization of contracts Track payments and deadlines, maintain an audit file and summary for each contract Ensure compliance of appropriate regulations and owner specifications Duties/Responsibilities: For Skilled Meat Workers Shave or singe and defeather carcasses, and wash them in preparation for further processing or packaging. Slit open, eviscerate, and trim carcasses of slaughtered animals. Cut, trim, skin, sort, and wash viscera of slaughtered animals to separate edible portions from offal. Operation of equipment and machinery to saw, split, or scribe carcasses into smaller portions to facilitate handling. Remove bone, washes, trims and cuts meat into standard cuts to prepare for packing. Maintain high hygiene standards throughout all processes. Benefits and perks An attractive remuneration package ($75,000 - $115,000) is offered for the right candidate depends on experiences.
