Overview: Scholarships Advisor Part-time (0.8/28.8 hours per week) , Fixed Term position until July 2026 Salary Level HEW 6 17% Superannuation Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working About the role T he Coursework Scholarships team ensures the efficient operation, reporting, management and payments of RMIT University coursework scholarships. As t he Scholarship Advisor , you will administer various databases , excel spreadsheets and ensure the efficient operation, reporting and management of RMIT coursework scholarships ( predominately domestic ). This will include administering the new Commonwealth Prac Payment (CPP). You will also manage and monitor processes and recommend relevant changes to financial and recording systems to the Manager. The position also maintains the currency of marketing and promotional material on scholarships, and undertakes scholarship evaluation and reporting activities. Maintaining a detailed knowledge of coursework scholarships is an integral part of this role. To be successful in this position, you will have : High level of discretion in maintaining confidentiality and privacy of student data records. Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret information, report and make recommendations for action. High level of administrative and computer skills necessary to manage and maintain complex financial records of scholarship decisions and payments. High level of skills in IT application s including Excel and competency us ing a range of formulas . Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work and complete projects/tasks with a high level of accuracy to tight timelines within a high level of independence . Demonstrated effective interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills. The ability to work cooperatively and flexibly as part of a team, within a positive service-oriented environment.
