Retail Manager (General) Smokin Joes pizza bar and grill Healesville (VIC) Duration : At least 2 years Job Type : Full-time (Minimum 38 hours per week) About The Role and Responsibilities We are looking for a passionate and experienced Retail Manager to join our Smokin Joes Team in Healseville, VIC . In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving the business to achieve its strategic objectives. You will work closely with the Store Manager and Business Manager to maintain high operational standards and contribute to the store's success. Tasks Include : Manage and lead a team of retail sales associates, ensuring high levels of customer service, handling customer complaints and staff engagement Oversee store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, presentation and growth. Organizing displays, promotions, and stock replenishment. Managing daily store activities, including sales, inventory, and staff scheduling. Recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating team members Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the customer experience Monitoring budgets, sales targets, and expenses Work closely with the leadership team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures Liaise with management and other stakeholders to share insights and support the overall business objectives Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing coaching and development opportunities for the team. Qualifications and other requirements for Retail managers Diploma level qualifications or equivalent in management or another relevant field. Recent minimum of one year of relevant experience working in a retail management role within the fast-food industry, preferably fast paced frenchised Pizza store. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities Proficient in inventory management, financial reporting, and data analysis Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Familiarity with relevant retail industry regulations and compliance requirements. Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver licence with your own reliable vehicle.
