About the Role Lismore FoodWorks is looking for a results-driven and experienced Retail Manager to lead the daily operations of our store. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in retail management, product strategy, and team leadership. You will be responsible for optimising store performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. Key Responsibilities Product & Inventory Management: Determine appropriate product mix and stock levels to meet customer demand Maintain accurate inventory and financial transaction records Ensure service standards are consistently met Purchasing & Pricing Strategy: Formulate and implement purchasing and pricing policies Monitor supplier performance and negotiate effectively Marketing & Promotion: Plan and execute in-store promotions and advertising campaigns Promote store offerings and seasonal events to maximise foot traffic and sales Sales & Customer Service: Sell goods and provide advice to customers on product use Address customer queries, concerns, and complaints professionally Financial & Operational Management: Prepare and manage store budgets Monitor expenses and profitability to ensure financial goals are achieved Team Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate team performance Create a positive and productive work environment Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations comply with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations Maintain a safe, clean, and organized retail space Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in a similar retail management role Strong understanding of inventory, pricing, and marketing principles Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Customer-focused approach with strong sales abilities Proficient in POS and retail management systems Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards What We Offer Competitive salary and performance incentives Employee discounts and staff benefits A supportive work culture and opportunities for career growth
