About the role Position: Warehouse Officer Location: Muswellbrook, New South Wales Working arrangements: 8-hours per day Monday-Friday, on a 9-day fortnight The Warehouse Officer position reports to the Inventory and Warehouse Manager and will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient warehouse operations supporting production and maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities: MRO Inventory Management: Oversee the end-to-end inventory management process, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient handling of 21,000 items worth up to $110 million. SAP Experience: Utilise SAP for inventory tracking, stocktaking, and receipting. Work Order Management: Pick and stage parts for work orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to the site teams. Physical Tasks: Load and unload vehicles, pick and pack parts, and operate machinery such as MR trucks, cranes, and forklifts. Team Collaboration: Work closely with a busy team, taking initiative and maintaining a high level of safety and autonomy. Key Accountabilities: Issue, receive, and store goods, and check stock levels where necessary in accordance with appropriate processes and procedures. Respond to requests from AGL staff and contractors regarding materials and stock levels. Review work systems and methods, recommending changes or improvements where appropriate. Complete annual stocktakes at Bayswater Warehouses and Ravensworth and Antiene stores. Work safely at all times, ensuring correct use of PPE, proper use of forklift and other machinery, maintaining a clean and tidy workplace, and following procedures for the correct storage of goods and materials. Qualifications, Key Skills, and Experience Required: School Certificate or equivalent. Knowledge and relevant experience in warehouse operations / inventory management within energy, mining or heavy industrial environments. Mandatory C Class driver's license Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation and the Dangerous Goods Act. WorkCover High-Risk Work licence for Forklift C Class Drivers licence required and MR truck licence desired Competent in the application of Microsoft Office and SAP Materials Management system. Ability to organise and work with minimal supervision. Commitment to workplace safety and service improvement. Enthusiastic, flexible approach to work.
