THE OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Counsel with Commercial, ICT Services and Software experience to join our Macquarie Park, Sydney NSW office. Your main responsibility will be to provide legal advice and transactional support to ensure that the business objectives of FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia and its related entities are achieved. We are ideally looking for someone with a strong corporate or private practice background. You should have the capability to develop effective working relationships within and outside of reporting lines while building credibility to interact with the executive and senior leadership team, customers, suppliers and other external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Provide contract review, drafting and negotiation support for transactions entered into by FUJIFILM entities, to help ensure that all contracts are in line with the entities’ risk appetite and governance policies, • Provide commercially astute legal advice to ensure we make informed decisions with adequate knowledge of the legal and commercial consequences and risks. • Provide legal advice and/or project management of disputes involving a FUJIFILM entity to ensure that risk is appropriately managed. • Maintain and update standard contract templates to reflect both legislative requirements and the changing needs of the business which includes buy side, sell side and channel contracts for all business units.
