About the Client: Our client is a Government agency tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking for multiple Service Designers to join their busy team for a casual 12-months temporary assignment. About the Role As a Service Designer, you will be part of a team that design and deliver service improvements to provide quality client outcomes and enhance their experience. In addition, your key duties are as follows: Research and identify insights Co-create and document current state service through design and research Co-create and co-facilitate process design improvements. Advocate for the voice and experience of clients and stakeholders through work processes. Co-facilitate design-thinking sessions with service users to design and test future service processes, channel and experiences. Apply in-depth knowledge of the role and functions of the organisation and the related impacts across work areas. Oversee end-to-end service experiences in line with the Digital Service Standard Contribute to the evaluation of proposed solutions and design at both a conceptual and tactical level. About You To be successful in this role, you must have: Demonstrated experience in Service Design or similar roles, ideally within the disability, social services, or public sector Experience with human centred design, user research, persona development, and journey mapping Ability to lead co-design sessions with stakeholders and users Proficiency with digital design tools such as Miro, Figma, Creately, Mural, etc. Demonstrated experience with Jira, Sharepoint, MS Suite, Qualtrics, or other comparable design tools Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Familiarity with agile methodologies like Agile or Kanban Benefits ASAP Start Date pending clearance Casual 12-months Temporary Assignment Full-time hours, Monday to Friday $60.26 per hour super Multiple locations available: Geelong VIC Melbourne VIC Sydney NSW Please note the successful candidate for the role must hold Australian Citizenship and be willing to complete federal police check At Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
