This position is open to school leavers looking to build a sales-orientated career path and who would be interested in working within a bearings and power transmission environment. This position is full-time, and based in Wingfield , Adelaide. Job Details This Internal Sales Traineeship could be the ideal opportunity to gain customer service training and experience in a large reputable national company. Statewide Bearings is one of Australia’s most trusted bearing suppliers, offering an extensive range of bearing lubrication, power transmission, pumps, and linear motion products. It has multiple branches in each state and offers varied opportunities for progression in all areas of business. Do you have an interest in pursuing a customer service career? This traineeship can provide a solid foundation for a long term customer service career and offers the strong likelihood of being employed directly by Statewide Bearings after the traineeship. You will have mentoring and support while completing a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework over the 12-month traineeship . Your duties will include: Processing current and outstanding orders Answering and responding to phone and email for internal sales Liaising and communicating with the internal procurement team to achieve customer deliveries Answer enquiries from customers and help secure new orders Collaborating with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide support Benefits Above award rate Full-time contract with the potential to become permanent Access to 1:1 mentoring Paid weekly and PPE supplied Complete a BSB30120 Certificate III in Business Customer Engagement in the first year. Then if you'd like to there is the option to continue on with Statewide Bearings in the second year to take on a BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership Management About You You must have excellent communication skills and be ready and willing to undertake some manual handling in a mechanical industrial setting. You also have an interest in pursuing a sales and customer service career and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment. Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers Interested in learning about Statewide Bearings products and services and how to provide customer service Excellent communication skills and the confidence to ask questions Have a positive attitude, be reliable and committed to completing the traineeship Ability to prioritise, with good time management skills Be able to perform manual handling duties, including frequent lifting of up to 15kg Able to ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met Have mechanical aptitude, good attention to detail and a methodical approach In addition: Forklift licence would be advantageous, but is not essential Have the ability to pass a Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen, and Police Check Apply Now To start your sales or customer service career, in a fully supported team environment please apply today.
