THE OPPORTUNITY Receiving frozen, chilled and dry products via use of forklift Manual staging of consignments and checking goods prior to unloading ensuring they are correctly packaged, allocated, staged and there is no damage to goods or packaging Unloading and loading Tautliners and flatbed trucks via forklift Manual loading of fridge pans with manual pallet jacks and forklift in correct order Use of forklift to assist in loading and unloading pans and moving products for storage Cleaning and housekeeping Ad-hoc duties as required To be successful it is essential that you have: Hold a Forklift License Experience in a cold store environment advantageous Experience in staging and loading refrigerated pans advantageous Understanding of food safety handling and quality control Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently, correctly and systematically in accordance with procedures and standards Ability to understand and follow procedures and instructions High attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritise workloads Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute positively to the team Strong work ethic, reliable, punctual and have a "can do" attitude Ability to read and write English accurately High level of personal hygiene High level of fitness to undertake repetitive manual tasks
