The key duties of the position include Your Role A rare opportunity exists to work in the Secretary's Office (OSEC) team in the role of Administration Officer. Reporting to the Secretary's Executive Assistant you will be required to support them in managing the Secretary's daily requirements making this position an ideal pathway to a future Senior Executive Assistant role. The Administration Officer will be responsible for the execution of the business and administration processes within OSEC, which include but are not limited to: • Reception; • Security Officer; • On and off boarding from OSEC; • Objective work group; • Travel arrangements; • Correspondence workflow; • Finance and procurement; and • Maintenance of our intranet page. Our Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate: • Strong customer service focus; • Strong background in administration; • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills; • Ability to manage multiple tasks and assist with coordinating activities often within tight deadlines; and • Flexible in approach to changing priorities, circumstances and requirements. The ideal candidate will be well organised, have the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, as well as collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate requirements and display flexibility and resilience. You will have excellent time management skills, sound judgement and strong attention to detail. You will excel at building and maintaining stakeholder relationships, demonstrate discretion and ability to manage sensitive issues. The ideal candidate will be self-aware, with a positive attitude, demonstrating consideration and respect for a diversity of ideas and perspectives of others.
