We are seeking a skilled and driven Senior Contracts Administrator to join their team and play a pivotal role in project delivery and contractual performance. This is a dynamic, hands-on role best suited to someone with a solid understanding of both construction contracts and on-site WHS practices. Key Responsibilities Contract & Financial Administration Prepare and manage project-specific subcontractor scopes of work. Administer head contract obligations including progress claims, variations, notices of delay (NODs), and extensions of time (EOTs). Oversee the preparation, issuing, and negotiation of subcontractor agreements. Manage tender processes including preparation, advertising, review, and contractor selection recommendations. Monitor and maintain accurate cost tracking, conduct cash flow analysis, and contribute to financial forecasting. Prepare monthly PCG (Project Control Group) reports for client presentations. Ensure compliance with the Security of Payments Act during invoice processing and subcontractor payments. Coordinate the CC (Construction Certificate) and OC (Occupation Certificate) process, liaising with consultants and certifying authorities. Project Support & Documentation Assist the Project Manager, Site Engineer, and other key personnel with administrative and operational tasks. Maintain a structured document control system (digital and hard copy). Manage workflows for RFI submissions, shop drawing approvals, and sample confirmations. Attend and minute subcontractor and design meetings. Prepare Bills of Quantities and provide general estimating support for tenders. Review DA Conditions of Consent and ensure compliance with all related site-specific requirements. Health, Safety & Compliance Uphold a strong culture of WH&S, acting as a site safety champion through consultation, education, and compliance monitoring. Maintain and update the Site Safety Plan, including documentation of incidents and accident statistics. Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations. Coordinate the rehabilitation of injured workers and provide ongoing WHS guidance to all personnel. Support site teams in implementing SWMS and safe work methods for new procedures. General Operations & Office Support Provide procurement support including sourcing, ordering, and coordinating deliveries. Oversee plant, equipment, and tool hire, servicing, and registration. Manage personnel training records, licenses, and ticketing compliance. Assist with light marketing tasks such as social media content and maintaining company stationery and branding materials. Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and AutoCAD daily for reporting, documentation, and plan management. Skills & Experience Required Minimum 5 years experience in a Contracts Administration role, ideally with exposure to mid-sized or tier-2 construction projects. Strong working knowledge of contract law, WH&S legislation, and project delivery methodologies. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic AutoCAD functions. Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities. Why Apply?
