Systems Administrator (Linux) — Canberra Region, Australian Capital Territory

Job Description About the Role Our client, focused on National Security, is looking for a System Administrator (Linux) with Positive Vetting level clearance (PV) for a 12-month contract (with extension options) to operate from their Canberra location. The successful candidate will work as a Policy Officer to support the modernisation and uplift of existing policy and governance initiatives.They will: Lead or assist system administrator activities supporting the Linux and core services in the High Performance Computing environment. Provision and configure servers using life cycle system tools and/or self-documenting Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies. Write support and security documentation. The Successful Candidate Our ideal candidates will bring the following attributes: At least 7 years’ experience in Medium-Large Enterprise or Government Linux System Administration roles. Demonstrated system administration experience with Linux Operating Systems for example: Red Hat, Rocky, Suse.
