About the role As the Technology Engineering Manager in C4i Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in managing and leading our C4 Technology Engineering capability whilst acting as the lead technical interface and key stakeholder to our clients and partners. You will provide leadership and technical guidance to our delivery managers, teams and clients, and champion the C4i Solutions Culture. You'll be passionate about providing exceptional service, communication and delivery. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to; Provide technical oversight and engineering management to all systems engineering activities including but not limited to; Technical Reviews; Systems Requirements Capture and Definition; Verification and Validation; Test and Evaluation and Acceptance Testing; Systems Engineering and Systems Integration; Systems Design Approval and Certification and; Engineering Compliance. Into Service Acceptance and Engineering Approval. Systems End of Life and Disposal. Accountable to ensure all systems engineering requirements meet specific project milestones and Defence engineering certification standards. Provide technical and personnel leadership and management across the engineering delivery teams. Act as the primary C4i systems engineering delegate (Design review, authoring, approval). Provide oversight of all engineering risk and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented. Act at the primary technical interface between the client, users, technical and non-technical teams and vendors. Ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet all design requirements. Chair key engineering review boards, meetings and change workshops as required. Your Experience: Experience with large complex project delivery with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Defence company highly regarded. C2/C4 and systems integration experience. Ex Defence industry, or ADF are preferred. Ex RAAF, Navy, or Army Engineering experience (highly regarded). Operational knowledge of ITIL, ISM, DSPF. About you: Australian citizen (Due to nature of Defence work) and an inactive or reinstatable Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance. A relevant BACH Degree in either: (Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Software Engineering, Robotics or Automation). A certified member of Engineers Australia (Preferred). Based in Sydney or Western Sydney, and able to work from the Penrith office 3 days per week.
