You'll be mostly office based at a cool spot in Brisbane's CBD. We are yet to find it. You may help. You may need to work from home intiially. Ongoing, you'll need to consider yourself office-based. This is a new role - but already a busy team - there's projects to deliver - and new staff to hire. Day to day Your primary responsibility will be to problem solve in the hydraulics remit . Local codes and standards knowledge is critical (Australian fine) and an ability to get on with people from all walks of life. Take a project end to end, from feasibility to construction. Design it, own it. You will collaborate closely with others in the design team, to ensure seamless integration all components within the overall project. Take home between $140k - $170k p/a plus Super, based on your experience. The team There's a team of about 20 staff here - civil engineers, mechanical and hydraulics engineers and automation engineers. They typically love coming to work together. Key duties Design review and Design management Client engagement from start to finish Supervision of the preparation of construction level hydraulic services documentation Working closely with the design and project team to meet program and requirements and achieve integrated outcomes Project Management to ensure timely and safe delivery About you Proficient in working in the design and construction space Tertiary qualification in an engineering field (mechanical, hydraulics, civil). Or, you may have a plumbing background, that's cool too.
