Electrician Heavy Machinery — Parramatta, Parramatta Area

As an Electrician for Heavy Machinery & Piling Rigs, you will play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical systems of our heavy machinery and piling rigs. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role requiring both electrical expertise and experience in working with specialized equipment in a construction environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy machinery and piling rigs. Ensure electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely on-site. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot electrical issues, and provide quick, effective solutions to keep operations running smoothly. Work closely with site supervisors and engineers to ensure electrical systems meet safety standards and comply with industry regulations. Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment. Assist with the setup, operation, and decommissioning of piling rigs and heavy machinery. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in heavy machinery and piling rigs. Requirements: Current NSW Electrical License (mandatory). Proven experience working with heavy machinery and piling rigs in the construction industry. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues quickly. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong commitment to safety and compliance with workplace health and safety regulations. A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills. Previous experience with piling rigs, cranes, and other heavy equipment is highly desirable.
