We’re seeking a compassionate, reliable female support worker with a great sense of humour to support a lovely client living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) . This is a rewarding opportunity to assist someone in living with dignity, independence, and joy. About the Role You will support the client with: Personal care and hygiene Hoist transfers Catheter and bowel care Skin integrity checks Passive range-of-motion exercises Community access (via disability taxi) Inactive sleepover shifts (as requested) Standard Shift Times Morning: 6:30am – 8:30am (2 support workers) Afternoon: 1:00pm – 3:00pm (1 support worker) Evening: 8:30pm – 10:30pm (1 support worker) Scheduled Shifts Week One: Friday: 1:00pm – 3:00pm Saturday: 6:30am – 8:30am, 1:00pm – 3:00pm, 8:00pm – 10:00pm Sunday: 1:00pm – 3:00pm Week Two: Tuesday: 8:00pm – 10:00pm Friday: 8:00pm – 10:00pm Saturday: 6:30am – 8:30am, 1:00pm – 3:00pm Sunday: 1:00pm – 3:00pm Additional shifts with other clients in the area may be available. What We’re Looking For Female support workers only (client preference) Experience in complex care or working with MS is highly desirable Confident in hoist use, catheter/bowel care Warm, respectful, and brings a sense of humour to their work Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling certification Reliable and punctual If you’re keen to make a real difference and love bringing a smile to someone’s day — hit "Apply" now!
