Key accountabilities The company is entering a period of significant construction activity for a major renewable energy hub in Queensland, and is hiring a Construction Manager to lead the site based execution for the first stage of a significant Solar Farm. Core responsibilities: Manage all the site deliverables including scope, schedule, construction risks and any change management processes Work closely with the nominated EPC on finalising design packages and overseeing preliminary site works including road upgrades and entrances Manage the Owners Engineer on budget and cost control reviews Gain a deep understanding of the contracts for key packages to ensure high levels of quality and compliance with regulatory standards Ideal profile Previous construction experience on a Solar Farm would be highly regarded; alternatively, experience delivering other renewable energy or energy storage projects through construction A keen eye for quality and safety best practice relating to construction programs Proactive in seeing potential risks or roadblocks and putting in place measures to reduce or avoid their impact Highly effective communication skills (both written and spoken) and initiative to work without direction and come with a solution focused approach Applying To be considered for the shortlist please click through the apply button and add your CV.
