Senior Bookkeeper - Construction — St Leonards, Willoughby Area

Interviewing now Based in St Leonards, a wonderful opportunity exists for a dedicated and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join a dynamic team within the construction industry on a full time, permanent basis. Description An exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team and report directly to the Managing Director, the Senior Bookkeeper role encompasses all aspects of Accounting to bolster the business. Key responsibilities include: - Processing and organizing invoices, a substantial part of the role. - Supporting progress claims. - Contributing to End of Month procedures. - Aiding in calculating labor costs for Work in Progress (WIP) reports. - Communicating with the accounts manager. - Overseeing insurance follow-ups. - Coordinating with onsite subcontractors for timesheets and invoices. - Monitoring and verifying timesheet entries. - Managing budgets, including overseeing subscriptions (Business and Personal). - Executing payments to suppliers and subcontractors from the bank account. - Supervising couriers and mail services. - Handling printing, filing, and scanning tasks. - Generating daily diary reports for site operations. Profile To be considered for this great opportunity (that wont last long) you will be a seasoned Senior Bookkeeper who is hands on and happy to work in a small and dedicated team.
