Warehouse Officer Location: VIC Company: Abco Products Abco Products is seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Officer to support and strengthen our warehouse operations in VIC. This role goes beyond standard pick-and-pack—you’ll be exposed to end-to-end logistics, inventory management, process improvement, and team coordination. We’re looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in operational excellence. This position offers opportunity for growth within ABCO Products to become a Team leader in our VIC Branch and then potential to go further into a Warehouse Manager Role. Key Responsibilities: Inventory & Stock Management Receive, process, and dispatch incoming and outgoing stock Conduct cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and assist with stocktakes Monitor inventory levels and work with procurement to maintain optimal stock Maintain accurate warehouse records and ensure systems are updated in real-time Order Fulfilment Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and care Ensure timely dispatch and coordination with delivery partners Communicate delays or issues promptly and seek effective solutions Uphold high standards for order accuracy and completeness Warehouse Organization & Safety Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment Support the planning of warehouse layout and storage optimization Assist with upkeep and inspection of warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks) Follow and uphold workplace safety procedures and policies Team Collaboration & Leadership Support Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to meet daily targets Support the training and coordination of new or junior team members Communicate with internal departments such as sales, customer service, and procurement Assist with scheduling, rostering, or workflow planning when required Process Improvement & Reporting Identify and suggest process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy Assist in implementing and maintaining warehouse SOPs Provide operational insights and feedback to management Contribute to performance metrics and reporting when needed Logistics Coordination Support delivery planning and optimization of delivery routes Ensure fleet maintenance is up to date and issues are addressed quickly Maintain accurate dispatch documentation and delivery records Monitor delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies and contribute to solutions What We're Looking For Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or dispatch operations High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure Strong communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable with warehouse systems and basic reporting Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one) A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership Our Core Values We are a values-driven company.
