About the business A leading local truck company is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to fill the full time roles of Distribution Manager / Office Manager and Electrical Engineering Technician. About the role Duties/Responsibilities: For Distribution Manager Design efficient distribution strategies to meet customer demands Lead and manage a diverse distribution team, including drivers, warehouse and administrative staffs; set performance goals, provide guidance, and assess team performance regularly. Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and shorter delivery times; create and manage delivery schedules that align with customer expectations. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards; maintain accurate records of regulatory compliance. Manage the distribution budget to control expenses without compromising service quality. Resolve customer service issues, deal with customer concerns, and prepare responses to customer issues and problems. Coordinate resources to align with overall company strategies; take action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends. Evaluate employee performance, provide disciplinary action as required. Duties/Responsibilities: For Office Manager Organize all the administrative activities to facilitate the smooth running of the office Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures; balancing office budgets; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions Ensure filing systems are maintained and up to date. Ensure protection and security of files and records. Assign and monitor clerical and secretarial functions. Supervise office staffs, manage their performance and provide training and on-going staff development. Duties/Responsibilities: For Electrical Engineering Technician Research electrical networks, implement findings and gather data, conduct tests and complex calculations, prepare charts and tabulations. Develop plans of electrical distribution systems and circuitry. Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after operation of company’s machines. Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments. Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of developmental parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions, and record results. Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment. Estimate materials costs and quantities. Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Benefits and perks Great salary package ($75,000 to $115,000) will be rewarded to the right candidate.
