About the Role: The overall purpose of the Teaching Focused Academic position will be to provide academic oversight to clinical placements within the Masters of Physiotherapy. In addition, the incumbent will make significant contributions to the teaching effort in the physiotherapy discipline, particularly in the area of clinical education, and contribute to the College of Sport, Health and Engineering through academic relevant administrative and research activities. The Teaching Focused Academic will support clinical educators and students during placement and convene clinical placement units within the Physiotherapy program. The Teaching Focused Academic will also be required to teach into the undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University. This is a part-time continuing position at the classification of Teaching Focused Academic Level B working 29.4 (.8 FTE) hours per week, The full-time equivalent salary range is $109,392 per annum to $129,902 per annum plus 17% superannuation.
