About the Role: We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer—QA/QC to support our growing project and service delivery operations. This role will be critical in maintaining quality standards, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-performing mechanical systems across a range of industrial and resource projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement QA/QC plans and inspection test plans (ITPs) in line with project and client requirements. Perform quality inspections, audits, and surveillance across mechanical works and materials. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance and workmanship standards. Coordinate with engineering, construction, and project teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including NCRs, punch lists, QA reports, and final handover dossiers. Monitor subcontractor quality performance and ensure adherence to contract specifications. Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes and project execution. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 1 year of experience in a QA/QC role within heavy industry, mining, oil & gas, or construction. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM). Familiar with welding, NDT, pressure testing, and rotating/static equipment quality standards. Proficient in reading technical drawings, QA documentation, and using inspection tools. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
