Facilities Shift Engineer - Erskine Park (24/7 Roster) Location: Erskine Park, NSW Roster: 4 days on, 4 days off (includes weekends and public holidays as rostered) Security Clearance: Australian Citizens only - NV1 clearance required Join a global leader in data centre infrastructure in a key facilities engineering role, supporting 24/7 operations. We're seeking an experienced Facilities Shift Engineer to maintain critical infrastructure and ensure high availability and operational excellence at our Erskine Park site. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, chillers, generators, CRAC units, etc.). Facilitate scheduled and emergency maintenance with contractors and vendors, ensuring uptime, SLA compliance, site certification standards, and adherence to quality and safety requirements.Supervise and coordinate contractors/vendors to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Develop and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs), and Method of Procedures (MOPs). Monitor building systems (BMS), energy efficiency, and fault alarms to maintain operational integrity. Complete daily facility inspections and report on asset condition and system performance. Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and incident response investigations. Promote and enforce a strong safety culture and compliance with OH&S standards. Support internal teams and engage with customers on operational matters when required. Maintain accurate records, logbooks, and reporting systems, including performance metrics and vendor reporting. About You: Australian citizen (required for NV1 clearance eligibility). Trade license or relevant technical qualification. Minimum 3 years' experience in a mission-critical or data centre environment. Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including BMS and DCIM tools. Confident communicator with strong troubleshooting and reporting skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
