We are assisting our client, a multi-site, multi-franchise car dealership, in their search for a hands-on and driven New & Used Car Sales Manager . This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on the dealership floor and is looking to make a strong impact. Based at their Arundel site, you will be responsible for managing both new and used vehicle sales, with a strong focus on the used car division , which is the main profit driver. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day sales process and leading from the front. What’s in it for you? Excellent commission structure – OTE approx. $140k Base salary $65k Company vehicle Strong career progression opportunities Well established & growing business The Role As the New & Used Car Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving vehicle sales across both areas, with a particular emphasis on growing the used car side of the business. You’ll work closely with your small team to develop their performance, maximise sales opportunities, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is ideal for someone who enjoys direct customer interaction and closing deals themselves. Duties include: Manage and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets Be hands-on in the sales process – engaging with customers and securing deals Maximise opportunities from walk-ins, online leads, and repeat clients Maintain a strong used car yard and ensure strong stock rotation Implement effective sales strategies to support business growth Monitor competitor activity and market trends Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations Applicant Requirements: Proven experience in automotive sales, especially in the used car segment Demonstrated leadership in a dealership setting Confident and motivated to be hands-on with customers Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Ability to build lasting client relationships Organised and commercially focused If you're a dynamic automotive professional who enjoys being on the ground with your team and leading by example, this role offers a great opportunity to build your reputation and make your mark.
