Job Description The Opportunity We have a fantastic opportunity for a hard-working, innovative and knowledgeable Project Engineer with Track experience to join our Projects team based near the Perth Airport on a Fulltime permanent position. The Role As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for providing discipline specific engineering support for the feasibility study, development, scoping, estimating, delivery and commissioning Capital Projects. The main duties will be: Being responsible for a number of capital track projects which aim to upgrade/maintain our rail network Create, review and improve project documents, frameworks, procedures and standards Manage contracts, suppliers and sub-contractors Work alongside internal teams to deliver projects on site Complete engineering tasks ranging from conceptual design, studies, project, commissioning, operating and maintenance advice through to closure planning Provide technical advice to project stakeholders, and support to the Project Lead through the life cycle of the project Collaborate with the engineering team and other internal and external stakeholders to innovate, develop and share technical knowledge About You To be successful in this role we need you to have: It is preferred you have previous engineering experience and it is essential you have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management or similar. At least 3 years’ experience on rail projects You must have exceptional organisation skills and have a track record of being able to juggle multiple projects ranging in size and scope whilst maintaining clear and frequent communication with stakeholders. At times you will be required to complete project administration, so it’s important that you are willing to work on these tasks in order to support the overall project outcome.
