Senior Inside Sales Supervisor — Cameron Park, Lake Macquarie Area

A Day in the Life Serving the widest and most diverse customer base in all of Medtronic, as a Senior Inside Sales Supervisor, you will be leading, planning, and executing sales activities for your Remote Sales direct reports, a team of up to 4 remote sales professionals, as one of two Senior Supervisors reporting into the National Remote Sales Leader ANZ. Joining the team, you will be presented with challenges and opportunities for growth, as we strive to expand our Remote Sales Team to deliver a lower cost to serve sales model for our organization. We are seeking an individual who thrives on accountability and is eager to contribute their expertise to our mission. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Lead your team to manage sales related activities including customer support, offer modelling and analytics, proposal preparation, offer presentation, contract and terms negotiations, price negotiation, cost analysis, liability and exposure management and negotiation, for your Team’s accounts Drive your team’s focus on the customer and the customer experience to intensify business relationships - increasing loyalty and account retention Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with your team & track performance against targets. Lead the sales channels in executing engagement plans, negotiating contracts, and closing deals Collaborate with Operating Unit and Function leaders across ANZ to ensure your team is highly engaged and supported across all areas Remotely sell Medtronic products and retain end-user patients in a specific geographic area or customer accounts to achieve sales goals Manage your team to conduct phone-based sales and leverage selling skills to meet targets. Promote and establish education about Medtronic's products and services Manage and respond to customer concerns and complaints Arrange product demonstrations by field sales representatives Drive team performance by motivating and coaching team members Work within and actively promote Medtronic’s core Mission, corporate strategies, policies, procedures and Code of Conduct Comply with Medtronic’s Finance and Legal policies and procedures Required Knowledge and Experience: Minimum bachelor’s degree required Minimum 3 years’ experience as a people leader / team leader in a medical tech company or another sector leading a team of at least 4 people Other Sales Leadership experience highly regarded (outside of Remote Sales) Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth and bottom-line margin/operating profit Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Strong leadership capabilities with experience in leading and managing sales channels Ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions Expert Knowledge; MS Office suite of software.
