ABOUT YOU: You must: be studying a relevant degree qualification or a recent graduate. have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. have the necessary technical and soft skills to perform the job. be committed to a career in your field of study. be able to work at least 3 days per week. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Perform structural analysis, modelling, and design of building structures Prepare detailed engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation Liaise with architects, contractors, and project stakeholders Conduct site inspections and structural assessments Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and relevant building codes Support project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessment MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (compulsory) Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (compulsory) REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency in design software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, Revit, AutoCAD Sound knowledge of local codes and standards Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work both independently and within a team [Chartered or working towards CPEng is a plus] DESIRABLE: Experience in high-rise, infrastructure, or industrial projects Exposure to sustainable or green design practices LOCATION: The host company is located at Melbourne.
