Job Summary: Our client is seeking a driven and experienced professional to manage and expand both new and existing customer relationships within their network. This role involves executing and promoting a strategic sales process designed to fuel growth and align with the company’s objectives. The ideal candidate: We are looking for individuals that have worked on the ground in solar and have developed into a consultant role, or Project Managers, Operations Managers within the solar/ renewable energy industry that understand the fast-paced environment on site. With this background, you will also need to present a strategic and business development mindset. Key Responsibilities: Lead the growth planning for the Roof Top market in Commercial & Industrial (C&I), residential, and Distribution sectors within your designated territory. Develop and foster strong alliances through proactive proposals and negotiations with companies/groups. Implement and deliver a comprehensive customer plan focused on key performance indicators (KPIs) and budget goals. Manage B2B sales channels, focusing on meeting annual sales targets for EPC (C&I) and Installer markets. Develop and execute a distribution strategy for your assigned territory. Create targeted sales and training materials and conduct regular training sessions to ensure customers are well-informed about our products and services. Collect and analyse market intelligence, including competitor products and pricing strategies. Define and manage strategic programs and initiatives within the assigned market segment. Actively participate in market planning processes and contribute valuable insights. Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in the Australian solar industry and have site-based experience. Proven success in sales and business development, with at least 3 years of solar PV experience, ideally within a global company. Strong ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, with exceptional relationship management skills. Hands-on experience in establishing and expanding sales through EPCs and installers to drive maximum revenue. A results-oriented sales leader with a demonstrated track record of driving growth and exceeding business targets. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to customers, stakeholders, and industry professionals. Energetic, innovative, and proactive, with a relentless drive to pursue new opportunities. Strong interpersonal skills for cultivating and maintaining both internal and external relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
