Reporting to the Data & BI Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with analysts and operators to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration systems that power our analytics and applications. This role can be based at either Warwick Farm NSW, Southport QLD or Burwood VIC. Responsibilities will include: Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for batch and streaming workloads Build and support integration systems that connect various data sources and downstream consumers Optimize data models, ETL workflows, and SQL queries for performance and scalability Collaborate with analysts and operators to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions Monitor data workflows, troubleshoot failures, and implement automated alerts Document architecture, data lineage, and operational procedures Key Requirements and experience: Python: Strong skills writing clean, testable, and performant code SQL: Deep experience crafting complex queries, optimizing joins, window functions, and indexing Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on experience defining and managing infrastructure via code Git: Proficient with version control workflows Excellent written and verbal communication Cloud & Big Data: AWS S3, Redshift, and Glue Containerization: Docker for development and deployment IaC Tools: Terraform Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive industry data and processes API Development: Experience building and consuming APIs, particularly with FastAPI Benefits: Career development and learning opportunities Supportive team environment based in Western Sydney Exclusive discounts on vehicles, parts and servicing Benefit from our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), providing support and resources during challenging times Paid parental leave to support you and your family
