Part-time (10 hours a week Monday to Friday) NDIS Plan Manager / Finance Assistant to join a rapidly growing Plan Management team within an established Registered NDIS Provider in an interesting and varied role working from modern Mulgrave, VIC offices. The successful applicant will have financial management & accounts experience combined with great attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills. Key Responsibilities Onboarding new clients, setting up new accounts and all approval & consent paperwork is in place Answering queries and providing accurate information relating to NDIS Plans for new & existing clients Reviewing service provider invoices and working with service providers to create compliant invoices Submitting approved invoice claims to the NDIS on behalf of clients Monitoring participant budgets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis Assisting the Finance Team meet weekly timelines for client invoicing and employee payroll processing Monitoring and querying outstanding invoices, unauthorized invoices and unusual claims Accurate record keeping, data entry & management, compliance and general administration tasks Requirements Qualifications & Experience Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification with a minimum of Certificate IV Bookkeeping Membership of either a bookkeeping or accounting professional body Experience working in an account payable or bookkeeping/accounts administration role Good understanding of NDIS legislation & regulations and NDIS Plans, budgets & funding including the application of the price arrangements & price limits guide or willingness to learn Proficient in using a variety of accounting software & systems and knowledge of payroll & Awards is highly desirable Good attention to detail with the ability to deliver fast high-quality outcomes for clients Ability to communicate (written & verbal) with a diverse range of stakeholders and quickly build trust Able to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team Benefits The successful candidate will be required to provide a recent National Police History Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Worker with Children Check and provide 100 points of ID and evidence to work in Australia.
