We have an exciting career opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Coordinator to join our Daimler Truck SelecTrucks used truck business unit. Based in Somerton, you will use your strong interpersonal and organisation skills to help maximise and support sales performance for the dealership, providing quality, timely and reliable sales administration, carrying out various yard duties and supporting with the driving and movement of trucks in preparation for sale and delivery to our valued customers. Responsibilities The role: Reporting to the Branch Manager and working closely with the Sales and Administration team, your key responsibilities will include: · Processing sales orders in an accurate and timely manner · Raising Purchase Orders and repair Orders accurately and in accordance with the Sales Worksheet · Managing inventory through the administration of vehicle movement and managing accurate records · Processing supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner · Complete on-line vehicle registrations and transfers · Accurate and timely processing and closing of deals · Liaise with internal stakeholders and manage customer expectations regarding delivery time frames · Assist in presentation of used inventory for sale and display in yard · Delivery and driving of trucks in order to transport trucks between contractors and customers · Assist truck sales staff with trade appraisals · Responsible for presentation of trucks in yard for sale Qualifications Who we are looking for: To be successful in this role you will and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will enable you to build and maintain positive relationships with all customers and suppliers. You will be good with numbers, be pro-active and have an eye for detail. Previous experience in sales administration or a similar role within an automotive dealership environment is preferred however on the job training can be provided. Ideally, being familiar with factory ordering systems within this industry is strongly desired as is experience in using our system, Era Power. Knowledge and experience within the commercial vehicle industry or some mechanical aptitude will be a distinct advantage. Applicants must have at least a minimum heavy rigid truck license (Victoria), and some Road Ranger experience would be beneficial but not essential.
