Job Description As an Administrative Support Officer, you will apply your attention to detail, capacity for hard work and knowledge of key systems and processes to support the School Manager in day-to-day operations of the School of Applied Psychology. Key responsibilities of this position include: Provide general administrative support, including ordering stationery, catering and routine procurement, managing room bookings, organising meetings, building access, and visitor parking. Manage generic email accounts; assist with organisation of events, activities, and mail-outs; use desktop publishing to prepare high quality reports and papers. Assist in managing the flow of information; establishing and maintaining administrative systems, including spreadsheets, information systems, registers, online booking systems, procedures and databases; record management/filing; preparing routine and ad hoc correspondence. Manage diary and travel bookings, liaise with other areas within the University, and provide administrative support to Nyunga Management Committee as needed. Support the organisation of Clinic programs and events and workshops. Coordinate on-boarding of new clinic interns. new staff and HDR students as required Respond to/refer general enquiries, including undertaking reception duties, as needed. Assist in monitoring budget expenditure, undertake financial transactions using the University’s finance systems (e.g., payment and invoice requests, credit card reconciliations) This position may be required to take on other responsibilities, commensurate with the expectations of a role at this level, which contribute to the overall objectives of the work unit. What we can offer This is a continuing, full-time position primarily based at the Griffith University Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations. Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples. Salary Range The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 4 range $73,623 - $77,680 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $86,138 - $90,885 per annum.
