ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY This PA / Administration Officer role offers a broad scope of support responsibilities to a manager and their wider unit. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day coordination of schedules, communication, documentation, and workflow, contributing to the efficiency and success of the broader team. Key responsibilities include: Coordinate and manage the manager's diary, travel bookings, meetings, hospitality, and office events Track, triage and manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely action or referral in line with procedure Prepare, draft, and format a variety of formal documents including letters, agendas, minutes, briefing notes, and internal communications Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and databases, ensuring secure and accessible storage of key documentation Provide data entry and word-processing support with a high degree of accuracy and compliance with government style guidelines Liaise with internal teams, NCAT, and external stakeholders, screening and responding to enquiries in a professional manner Coordinate travel and logistics in line with internal policies and public sector travel procedures Support ad-hoc research, project, and reporting tasks as directed by management ABOUT YOU Demonstrated experience in a PA, Executive Assistant, or Administration Officer role, ideally within government or a similarly structured setting Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to draft professional correspondence and manage stakeholder interactions with discretion Highly organised, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision Technically proficient across the Microsoft Office Suite and experienced in document and record management systems Ability to interpret and apply policies, standards, and administrative procedures Confident, adaptable, and proactive in managing tasks and supporting team needs Must be able to pass a National Criminal Record Check and provide two professional references Role Details: Title: PA / Administration Officer Rate: $45.01 per hour Super Duration: 6 Months Location: Sydney CBD Hours: 7 hours/day, 35 hours/week Working from Home: Initially on-site; flexible arrangements considered after onboarding Mane Consulting specialise in public sector and administration opportunities.
