Systems Network and Design Specialist Full-Time | $130k Package | Hybrid (Melbourne or Adelaide CBD) Are you passionate about cutting-edge system architecture and network infrastructure? Our client is seeking a talented Systems Network and Design Specialist to join their Melbourne team and play a pivotal role in shaping technical solutions that power innovative, high-performance systems. About the Role: as a Systems Network and Design Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation—designing and refining system architectures, integrating hardware and software, and ensuring robust, scalable network infrastructure. You’ll collaborate across teams to drive solutions from concept to implementation. Key Responsibilities: System Design & Prototyping: Create and refine architectures and prototypes for complex technical challenges. Third-Party Integration: Evaluate and integrate hardware/software from external vendors. Specs & Qualification: Analyze and define system specifications and related testing procedures. Documentation & Standards: Develop compliant documentation and support operational procedures. Network Infrastructure: Design and deploy secure, high-performance networks. Troubleshooting: Resolve customer-impacting issues with in-depth analysis and swift solutions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical and service teams to ensure project cohesion. What We're Looking For: 3 years’ experience in system design or a similar technical role. Expertise in hardware design and integrated circuit specifications . Strong knowledge of telecommunication protocols : ISDN, FXS/FXO, CAS, SS7, SIP. Proven hands-on experience with VoIP technologies and PBX/Media Gateways. Proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS), Windows Server (2008), and Windows 10 . Familiarity with VMware and virtualization platforms. Background in hardware project management and component lifecycle management. Skilled with debugging tools and techniques . Experience working in Agile environments . A degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, Computer Engineering , or equivalent experience.
